INNERES FALLEN DES WASSERMANNS
The electroacoustic performance proposes to bring the listener on an impressionnistic and wandering path of electronic sounds. It continues Delia Derbyshire ́s attempts to re-create in five movements some sensations of dreaming - as running away, falling, landscape, under water and colour - in The Dreams (1964).
The piece is based on a meditation tape for Aquarius that plays a supporting role in the piece ́s narrative, in search of our inner sonic chamber. The first part drives the listener on a crashed ascent. A drone induces a falling movement leading to a desorientated echoing landscape that shifts into a volcanic groaning. Emerging hypnotising harmonic tones generate a trans to float back.
